AI Credits Decoder
Before you use AI for a task, this tool helps you understand whether it is a small, medium, or heavy request and how to choose the right model without wasting credits, messages, or tokens.
Free tool · Nothing saved · Educational estimate only

How to Use
- Choose the AI tool you are using or select “Other / Not sure.”
- Choose the task that best matches what you are asking AI to do.
- Select how much information you are giving the AI to read.
- Select how long or detailed you want the answer to be.
- Choose your real goal.
- Click “Decode my usage.”
The result will explain whether your task is likely low, medium, or high usage, which model level may fit, and how to reduce waste.
Token math, simplified (optional)
Leave this blank if you are not sure. The decoder still works without token numbers.
A token is a small chunk of text. As a rough beginner rule, 1 token is about ¾ of a word. So 100 tokens is roughly 75 words.
These numbers are rough learning examples, not exact billing estimates.
Input tokens are the text you give AI to read — your prompt, notes, files, or chat context. A few paragraphs may be around 1,000–3,000 tokens. A long document may be 10,000+.
Output tokens are what AI writes back. A short answer may be a few hundred tokens. A detailed explanation may be 1,500–3,000 tokens. A full draft, report, or code output may be several thousand.
Answer all five questions, then decode.

Help
This tool is not an account tracker. It does not know your exact plan, balance, credits, tokens, message limits, or reset time.
It gives a plain-language estimate based on common usage patterns. Long files, long chats, premium models, detailed answers, coding, research, and repeated revisions usually use more.
If you need exact limits, pricing, or account details, check the official help page for the tool you are using.
